I love the words that Jesus spoke in Matthew 16 and verse 18 (NKJV):

“I will build MY church and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.”

And I love it for many reasons, but for this moment, I’ll just give three:

1. Because Jesus is the Master Builder, absolutely nothing can stand in the way of His church.
2. Because even though He alone is the Master Builder, He has chosen to build His church through you and me, His co-labourers.
3. Because Jesus' Church is His “BluePrint,” His Divine Plan for mankind and is the vehicle through which He has chosen to use to execute the affairs of heaven down here on this earth.

And because Jesus Himself is involved, that means there is nothing ordinary, common, or conventional about His Church.

His Church is a living organism and, if anything, is extraordinary, uncommon, unconventional, and supernatural, called to reveal, express, and manifest His Glory, His Power, His Majesty, His Love and His Beauty on this earth!
