Go Plogging - Global Plogging Environmental Movement

I used to be overwhelmed at how one can possibly tackle the enormous problems facing us today from plastic pollution in our seas to the toxic waste dumps on our lands. It seemed so unsurmountable that it was almost easier to ignore it. However, this means it will only get worse and our only hope is finding another planet. Living in Sweden has changed this for me. I see people coexisting happily in nature, there are many rules that make sure people recycle and there is a peaceful coexistence with nature. This is where I came across plogging. I love to run, especially in nature trails. I noticed other runners carry bags and gloves on them and collect bits and pieces as they go along. It made me realise that this is the answer. Start small and do a little bit. What if everyone thought the same? Soon we would be getting somewhere. Plogging is a metaphor for starting to care. You get immediate results and its simple. You can do it on your own or with a friend or go in a bigger group. All you need is a plastic bag and gloves. I challenge you to start and feel the happiness and satisfaction you feel afterwards.
