Do you and your kids have a million headbands and hair accessories like me and my daughters? If so, I have the perfect solution to storing those headbands, scrunchies, and hair ties. This inexpensive headband holder is perfect for containing your hair accessories while it also looks great on a dresser or shelf.

Materials:
-42oz Oatmeal Container
-Acrylic Paint
Optional fabric or paper to cover the outside Vinyl, shelf liner, contact paper, fabric, tulle, felt

-For the girls headband holder I painted and then used hot glue to glue glittery tulle to the outside.
-For my headband holder I used two sheets of vinyl I purchased at Michaels and then painted the lid black.

Directions:
Find a 42oz. oatmeal container I sent a few texts to my girlfriends and ended up with 3 containers!
Clean out the inside of the oatmeal container I simply wiped with a wet paper towel.
Paint the outside of the container with acrylic paint (we got ours at Michaels for $.69) we did a few coats so that you could no longer see the label.
-Paint the lid. You could end here and have it be a solid color and that works perfectly!
W3e took it a step further and added a sparkly tulle to the outside we used hot glue to glue the tulle down and then wrapped the tulle around the outside- we then glued the end.
Boom you have a headband holder. Store your scrunchies, hair ties, bows, etc. in the middle part and your harder headbands on the outside.
Directions Option 2:
-Follow the first 2 steps above but instead of painting just cover in vinyl, shelf liner, contact paper, fabric, tulle, or felt. I used two sheets of vinyl and it worked great!
