Memoires des Melancholia serves as the second album of the solo New Asian Black Metal band conjured by the 20-year old Yoo-sook in this period of great uncertainty and reflection. Throughout the creation of this amalgam of notions and eight tracks, paths previously untrodden were travailed upon, thrusting forth an aural onslaught never before attempted by the Far Eastern minstrel.

「Memoires des Melancholia」 embraces the ruthlessness and melancholy of black metal as reflected in its title track while not being blind towards the mystery of modernity and its concoctions of concepts unconceived in the genre's days of yore. Once more, Escapade To Serenity does not fail to devise a union of the sonically polar states of raw, dissonant black metal, aurally and emotionally-assaulting Crystal Lake-inspired metalcore, buzzsaw bubblegum nature of Ramones, and this time, a force of Linkin Park, KoRn, and Girugamesh-inspired aggressive nu metal-- especially in the track 「自制心（Jiseishin / Eng: Self-Control)」; the beauty in their contrasts stay present throughout every second of the album.
Moreover, the album retains a touch of one's fantastic yet coexisting visions of the modern world meshed with the Far Eastern elements in the letters that give breath to the chants, distorted sonic barrage of chaos, thought, and power, and the melodies that evoke a longing of days long past or perhaps one held dear to one's heart and mind, and power over one's destiny.

In the end, it is believed that the album tells of uncertainty and enlightenment, remorse and forgiveness, fantasy and reality in the aural experience like the unyielding nature of light and darkness, disturbance and tranquility, and the beauty in the grim.
