Unbelieveably poor design on this DANGEROUS motorized wheelchair. See video. Its supposed to be independent suspension like the last model it replaced, but its not. No springs. No separate action on the front small wheel that lift the drive wheel when they encounter anything not level. Also, the tired are a slick hard plastic and wont grip anything. The few millimeters of tread wore off quickly. No replacement rubber tires are made for it. The lithium battery is a mixed blessing. First, it lasts a lot longer than lead acid batteries.I can go for miles on it, BUT---unlike the lead acid where you can see the drain on the LED battery guage, and then know when you are coming to the end of power, the lithium shows full until its DEAD. It just gives you a good reading untill you have a few hundred feet left then DEAD. Another dangerous feature is the power curve. The lead acid batteries go to full power almost instantly like a Tesla car because electric motors dont need to build up like a gas engine. THey go to the power YOU have chosen with your thumb control. A little--a lot--but they do it. On this horrible Evo chair, if you have to roll over anything like a garden hose, a doorway floor trim, a difference in hight on anything, it JAMS and wont go forward until you take it to full power then HURLS you over it and into whats closer then 5 feet in front. Dangerous as heck. Its narrow and high. It tilts too easy in a corner and wont adjust down to fit your legs if you are over 6 feet tall. You cant lower its center of gravity.
