FJR1300 Slow Start Diagnosis and Replacement Fix DIY

Описание к видео FJR1300 Slow Start Diagnosis and Replacement Fix DIY

Older Yamaha FJR1300 models start developing a slow start condition, especially when it gets hot, and it gets worse over time. What happens is dirt and debris collects inside the starter, making it harder for the starter to convert electrical power into a rotating shaft. The starter starts drawing so many amps that the motorcycle will eventually lose enough power and the gauges reset.

Instead of paying someone for 3-4 hours of labor, do yourself a favor and use my help here to swap the starter motor yourself. Nothing here is complicated and can be done with basic tools. All you need is a little patience.

You are welcome (=
