** UPDATE ** It appears this setting has been removed on both the PC and Mac versions of Illustrator as of 27.6.1+

In this super quick tip I'll show you how to set your default file saving location from Cloud to Desktop (or vice versa!) in Adobe Illustrator.

*NOTE:* If you choose to save to the desktop, make sure you have a backup elsewhere!!! Personally, I use Dropbox to automatically back up all of my files so I prefer to save my Adobe docs on my computer.

If you also prefer to save to your desktop than to your Adobe Creative Cloud folders you can fix this preference setting to skip the save to cloud dialog box and save locally by default.
