MuseScore Tutorial 11 - MIDI File Import and Cleanup [Intermediate]

Описание к видео MuseScore Tutorial 11 - MIDI File Import and Cleanup [Intermediate]

The eleventh (I know there's no tenth yet!) in a series of tutorial videos designed to help you learn to use MuseScore. The first eight are focused on using MuseScore for orchestrating a piano piece for other instruments. These intermediate tutorials introduce topics more suited to arranging and composing in MuseScore.

MuseScore is free music notation software:

In this video you can learn how to import MIDI files into MuseScore and use the import settings and other techniques to neaten up the resulting notation.

Shortcuts used:
Ctrl+Shift+End : Select to the end of the system
Ctrl+C : Copy
Ctrl+V : Paste
I: Instruments dialog
J: Enharmonic equivalent

I realised after editing that the trumpet was in transposing score (not Concert Pitch), but with the wrong key signature, which explains the many accidentals. This seems to be a MuseScore bug. Applying the correct key signature (5 flats) to the first bar fixed it up and gave the trumpet the correct key signature of 3 flats.
