Self Service Infrastructure as Code Provisioning Demo - env0 - Terraform Cloud Alternative

env0 is an infrastructure as code automation platform. DevOps teams use it to deploy their infrastructure at scale, automate gitops workflows, empower developers with self-service provisioning, and meet governance and compliance requirements.

We understand users would like to deploy the same Infrastructure as Code stack for different environments, for example, I want to create a production and development application, for that in Terraform Cloud you’ll need to configure the same repository, folder and variables, in env0, you can create a “Template” which is Infrastructure as Code configuration, and you can deploy it multiple times and override some of the configuration for the specific deployment, such as revision or variables - This essentially allows you to create a self-service “catalogue” for your deployment applications. A benefit of this approach is that once the templates are set up, human intervention (aka opening up a ticket or asking the DevOps team) is no longer required to provision cloud resources, yet, you can still require approval for new deployments or limit the number of environments per user.
