This is a track that was recently created for a mobile beat'em up that ultimately will not be used. It was going to be used, but the game has made some sharp turns in direction, and a less dark track was requested. Rather than just let it die on my harddrive, I figured I would put it on Youtube for all you lovely people.

Obviously my inspiration for the track is Streets if Rage, but I sort of did my best impression of the game from my memory of it. I did not reference the soundtrack directly. I also did not bother to adhere to any limitations or directions. Just felt like flexing a little FM Synths of Rage.

Any excuse I can have to use the 909 drum sounds, I will take, and for once, it was not a puzzle game (looking at you, Super Puzzle Fighter soundtrack).
