Ringkasan Cerita
Ceritanya dimulai dari seorang pilot yang pesawatnya jatuh di gurun Sahara. Saat ia berusaha memperbaiki pesawatnya, tiba-tiba muncul seorang anak kecil berambut emas yang memintanya menggambar seekor domba. Anak itu ternyata berasal dari sebuah planet kecil bernama Asteroid B-612.

Di planetnya, ia punya tiga gunung berapi dan satu bunga mawar yang cantik tapi manja. Ia meninggalkan planetnya karena tidak mengerti perasaan bunga itu. Dalam perjalanannya, ia mengunjungi berbagai planet dan bertemu orang-orang aneh yang melambangkan sifat-sifat manusia:

Raja tanpa rakyat → simbol haus kekuasaan

Orang sombong → ingin selalu dipuji

Pemabuk → minum untuk melupakan rasa malu

Pebisnis → menganggap bintang sebagai harta

Penyalakan lampu → orang yang bekerja tanpa bertanya kenapa

Di Bumi, ia bertemu seekor rubah yang mengajarkan pelajaran penting:

"Hal-hal penting tidak terlihat oleh mata. Hanya hati yang bisa melihat dengan jelas."

Akhirnya, si Pangeran Kecil sadar bahwa bunganya sangat berharga karena dia sudah merawat dan mencintainya. Ia memutuskan untuk kembali ke planetnya.
