A Tinwag with NinaJirachi & The Gooch Palms

The evening began at one of our favourite venues in Brisbane, Crowbar checking out Melbourne legends BOAT SHOW (who are currently on tour with Hockey Dad and Dear Seattle ) having no prior knowledge about the band. It is safe to say we are now devoted fans of the Melbourne four-piece who wowed the audience with their energetic and charismatic stage presence.

While cruising Crowbar we were lucky enough to bump into Maz and Chris from WAAX (one of Jakes fave bands) who were lovely to chat too. Shortly after we shared a tasty brew with resident photographer/legend Matt Walter Photo, who, with his past experience, was able to calm our nerves before we went out to chat to some bands/artists.

The first artist we caught was Ninajirachi set at the zoo! She had just played Mountain Sounds Festival the previous day (what a work ethic!) and has just recently added a new song to her growing school of diverse tunas. Be sure to check her out!

The Gooch Palms were up next and after their frantic and fun-filled set we had a chat with the two-piece backstage at The Zoo.
