Litter-Robot 4: How to Assemble and Disassemble

Litter-Robot is built in a modular way to make troubleshooting and maintenance simple. In this video we’ll show you how to disassemble and reassemble your Litter-Robot to access certain areas for ongoing maintenance.

⚙️ Disassembly:
1. Make sure the unit is in the home position, turned off and unplugged from the outlet.
2. Remove any accessories (if you are using any).
3. Press and hold the latches on the side of the bonnet and lift to remove.
4. Grab the black handle on the the globe and lift to remove.

⚙️ Installation:
1. Grab the globe by black handle and insert into base keeping the handle facing the top.
2. Take the bonnet and align the hinges with the base. The latches should snap into place.
3. Reinstall any accessories.
4. Plug into the wall and power on.
5. Remove the waste drawer to line with the waste drawer liner.
6. Wrap edges of the waste drawer with the liner.
7. Push the drawer back into base and press the reset button.

⚙️ Replacing Carbon Filter and OdorTrap
1. Turn the unit on and hold the cycle and empty buttons at the same time for at least 3 seconds.
2. Once the unit reaches the replace filter position, the unit will show a solid yellow light.
3. Lift off the bonnet by pressing on the latches on both sides and lifting which will reveal the filter cover.
4. Remove the filter cover by dislodging the attachment tabs. Then open the filter cover.
5. Replace the carbon filter or OdorTrap packs and snap the filter cover closed.
6. Place the filter cover back into its original position and put the bonnet back in allowing the latches to snap into place.
