今回は、1991年11月発売のミリオンセラー、今井美樹さんの『PIECE OF MY WISH』です。
リリースから30年以上経っても、今もカラオケでは人気曲ですし、年数を経ても色褪せない魅力的な曲だと思います。

歌詞に出てくる「あなた」って誰だろう？と考えてみると、これはやはり「自分自身」なのかな、と感じます。
人は誰でも、何かに挫けそうになったり、辛くて前に進むことができない時もあります。
周りの人の励ましや応援があったとしても、結局は、自分で自分を支えて生きていかなければならない、この歌を歌いながら、改めてそんなことを感じました。
