Outsourcing to VA's (virtual assistants) is really hard! That's all there is to it.

It sounds easy to start with. But then comes the problems. Virtual assistants typically aren't masters of any one trade. A lot of them are incredibly smart, but they may not know about your business like you do.

A lot of online business owners outsource to VAs only to discover problems and quit.

Quitting is not the solution. Instead the solution is to just do it right.

You need to make systems for the VA to follow. Step by step tasks in apps like Asana or Trello that help them to see the vision that you are seeing.

It also helps to have a meeting with whoever you outsource too (Virtual assistant or otherwise) once a week.

This serves as a time to train and improve communication.

Your mind will honestly be blown by the quality of work a Virtual assistant can provide. Money is different in different countries.

$1000 in the US would put you drastically below the poverty line. The same amount elsewhere could have you living a great life.

The last tip is to be nice to your VAs! Encourage them and train them. Nothing is worse than having to rehire a virtual assistant. It's a lot more work than just working out the kinks and training your current one.

Give bonuses that inspire your virtual assistants to have the same goals as you do. Sure, they are outsourced employees, but consider them part of the team.
