CN 8952 (GTW Heritage) Returns to Michigan!

After getting involved in an accident last year, CN 8952 would be in Dansville, NY for repairs. Had been sitting in Frontier Yard in Buffalo, NY, after CSX M627 picked them up. Then, Rochester & Southern Railway brought them up from AMP in Dansville, NY to Rochester. Next, they were interchanged with CSX (in Rochester) and then CSX took them to Buffalo, NY to be interchanged with CN.

After getting into Toronto, ON, it would disappear way out in Truro, NS where it would be trapped on local service for about two months… until eventually after being near Toronto for a couple days, it would finally head west on this train, M397.

CN 8952, 2622, and KCSM 4844 was the consist. This train was 182 cars long and 10976ft long! 2 miles of train… wow!
