Riding Catwoman Whip at Six Flags St. Louis is an adrenaline-pumping experience that combines height, speed, and dynamic motion. This thrill ride, manufactured by Funtime, is a Booster model that propels riders 164 feet into the air at speeds reaching up to 52 mph. Each end of the ride’s massive rotating arm holds an open-air gondola seating eight riders, arranged back-to-back. As the arm swings vertically, the gondolas spin independently, flipping riders head-over-heels and creating a sensation of weightlessness and disorientation. The entire ride cycle lasts approximately four minutes, delivering continuous excitement .  

The attraction is themed after the DC Comics anti-hero Catwoman, with a stylized entrance archway featuring her likeness. Originally planned to open in 2020, Catwoman Whip faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and officially opened to the public on May 28, 2022 .
