Info (English):
We were shooting the video for "Beautiful & Wild" in our nice local cinema (Kino Kulisse) in Ettlingen. "Beautiful & Wild" is the title track to the nature documentary film "WildWestWegs". We actually wrote the song especially for this film. It wasn't only the song we contributed to the film, but we also played a part in it. For the film we travelled along the Westweg through the Black Forest (which is one of the oldest hiking trails in Germany starting in Pforzheim and ending in Basel / Switzerland). It's been such a great experience. We've learned a lot about filming and off course about nature (and a nice bit about geography as well ;-))
In the lyrics of "Beautiful & Wild" we tried to capture all our experiences and all the picturesque places along the Westweg. If we now listen to the song, it all comes back to us in the nicest possible way. During filming and hiking we were off course exhausted at times, but that's all forgotten. We're so happy and grateful to be part of this project.

Wir haben das Video zu "Beautiful & Wild" in dem atmosphärischen Kino Kulisse in Ettlingen gefilmt. "Beautiful & Wild" ist der Titelsong der Naturdokumentation "WildWestWegs". Wir haben den Song tatsächlich speziell für diesen Film geschrieben. Doch wir schrieben nicht nur den Song zum Film, sondern spielten sogar eine aktive Rolle darin. Für den Film wanderten wir entlang des Westwegs durch den Schwarzwald (einer der ältesten Wanderwege Deutschlands, der in Pforzheim beginnt und in Basel endet. Es sollte eine wundervolle Erfahrung werden. Wir haben viel über das Naturfilmen und natürlich über die Natur selbst gelernt (außerdem haben wir unsere Kenntnisse in Geografie aufgefrischt bzw. erweitert ;-)) Im Text von "Beautiful & Wild" haben wir versucht, all unsere Erlebnisse und all die pittoresken Landschaften einzufangen. Wenn wir uns den Song heute anhören, kommt dies alles in der erdenklich schönsten Form zu uns zurück. Währende des Drehs und der Wanderung waren wir natürlich von Zeit zu Zeit auch ziemlich erschöpft, aber das ist alles längst vergessen.
Wir sind glücklich und dankbar Teil dieses Projektes zu sein.
