Venazir Martinez's talk entitled, "Navigating Veracity: Mapping the Unbreakable Red Thread," tackles how there is a magical red string, a visual guide, that can help us navigate the world. Our vision, volition, and vocation are our strings toward a concept called success. Venazir Martinez is a street muralist and visual anthropreneur. She established a street art movement entitled Hila-bana, which magnifies real-life stories of Filipino cultural advocates of different ethnolinguistic groups unified by a red thread. This thread serves as a catalyst to weave a cultural tapestry that delineates our connected presence to global cultures.

She is also the co-founder of 23 Sampaguita Artist Collective and the purveyor of their collective initiative entitled Sining Eskinita, a multi-sensorial street art festival with a primary goal to champion artists from all disciplines. Her vision is to utilize the streets as instant institutional grounds for creative development and provide universal access to safe, inclusive, and culturally uplifting public spaces.
