Crater Lake is a beautiful site to see and one of the largest tourist attractions in the state of Oregon. But there is a sinister nature to the parks past as well with some truly baffling crimes. Possibly the most baffling occurred in 1952 when two General Motors executives, Charles Culhane and Albert Jones, were headed to a cabin just south of the lake to enjoy a relaxing weekend with a few other auto execs from southern Oregon. They never made it to the intended spot however.

The car they drove was found seemingly abandoned on the side of the highway, still in good working order, with no sign of the two men. What started as a missing persons case however quickly escalated when, shortly after, the two men were found… brutally murdered.

In today’s video I take is back to this bizarre mystery of the 1950s to tell the tale as well as diving in to the investigative effort afterward.
