Do yourself a favor and buy a travel pass.

The BVG, Berlin’s public transport agency, offers 24-hour and 7-Day travel passes.

2, 3, 4, 5, 6-day passes are also available as a part of the Berlin WelcomeCard or Berlin CityCard, 2 tourist discount passes available in the city.

Just 3 rides a day makes the pass superior to purchasing single tickets.

Passes also let you take up to 3 children ages 6 - 14 for free.

This is not available with single tickets.

This age group must have their own reduced-price single ride ticket.

Children 5 and younger always ride free in Berlin.

And with passes, it’s a one time purchase and a one time validation - and less chance of riding with no fare.

So, give your brain a holiday too.
