Satsar Lake means 'the seven lakes' in Hindi, is a confluence of seven lakes situated at high altitudes.
• The lake is heavenly in its scenic beauty with its rocky hills of the mighty Himalayan peaks, lush green meadows that fill your heart with peace, and a wide variety of flora and fauna.
• During the summer, tourists flock to Satsar lake to camp on a bright sunny day extending to an overnight stay with sleeping up the star lit sky amid the sound of water gushing past. On top of the camping spot there is also a waterfall that adds to the magnificence of the lake.
• It is not recommended to visit the Satsar lake in the winter as it freezes due to the extreme low temperatures in the region.
• It is recommended to reach the lake by trekking to soak in the charming landscape of Satsar.
