What my 1 year old toddler eats on a typical day!! Nolan is a one year old now so what he eats each day is a little bit more exciting. Today I share with you all his schedule when it comes to feeding and what his typical meals are. Toddler meals can be hard to come up with however I have found that simple is better for my boys.

Nolan wakes up usually around 7:30 if not sooner and that is when our day starts. After a diaper change he has his first bottle/sippy cup of cows milk that is around 10oz. He is completely on cows milk now which is full fat. He then will have breakfast which is either eggs, pancakes, waffles and and fruit of some kind.

Lunch is usually around 1pm depending on his nap schedule. This meal varies each day. Today he had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, blueberries and snack puffs. He can completely feed himself now so any kind of food is fair game. After lunch he has an 8 oz bottle/sippy cup of milk.

Dinner usually happens around 6pm depending on naps. For dinner he usually has a protein, carb, veggie and fruit. He only drinks milk and water through out the day. Tonight he had black beans, turkey, noodles and veggies. I also gave him some watermelon because he loves it so much. He is not always as excited for dinner as he is about the other meals of the day.

The last thing that he has is an 8oz bottle/sippy cup of milk. When he has his night time milk he knows that is is calm down time because bed soon follows.

Each day Nolan eats something different however this is a very typical day in the life of Nolan the one year old!!
