Well, we did, and that's why we gave our customers an escape hatch of being able to add functionality we haven't implemented (yet!). In this talk, I'd like to present how a small team of 4 engineers built a serverless compute platform by combining serverless AWS services in a matter of weeks, not years. You'll learn what are the key challenges of building a system like this, what to avoid and how we securely run users' code. And the best part? The whole system - frontend, backend, infrastructure is all built in a single programming language - TypeScript.
