The Granville Island Public Market is one of Vancouver's most popular and famous tourist attractions. It's also an amazing place to get lunch or a light dinner.

Vendors at the market sell everything from fresh fruit to pastries, gelato, fish, cheese and meat products. The food court area at the market is an especially good one. There are no McDonalds or other multinational fast food joints here. The food vendors are mostly small independent businesses selling everything from Mexican to Chinese, Thai and Japanese, plus things like pizza, muffins, fish & chips and bubble tea.
