A video from a Kick livestream has been released showing MMA fighter Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, brutally assaulting professional wrestler Stuart "Syko Stu" Smith during a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles. The incident, which occurred on August 23, 2025, is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The video shows Jackson entering the ring and body-slamming Smith before delivering numerous punches to his head as he lay motionless and unconscious. Other wrestlers had to pull Jackson off of Smith to stop the attack. Smith was reportedly rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, including broken facial bones and a loss of teeth. His brother, Andrew Smith, has since stated that Syko Stu is "stable but in critical care."

According to statements from both KnokX Pro Entertainment and Raja's father, Quinton Jackson, the incident was supposed to be a scripted wrestling "work" that went wrong. Quinton Jackson explained that before the match, Smith hit his son with a canned drink and Raja was told he could get his "payback" in the ring. However, Raja's actions went far beyond the planned routine.

The LAPD has confirmed they responded to the event and took a police report, classifying the case as a serious assault. No charges have been publicly announced yet. The incident has led to Raja Jackson being banned from the streaming platform Kick and has sparked a debate about the line between staged entertainment and real violence in professional wrestling.
