Today I’m swapping the backup camera in the Prius V from a pre-facelift (2012-2014) to a facelift (2015-2017) camera. I replaced my tailgate, and was not happy with the older camera, also used on the normal 3rd gen Prius (2010-2015).

I show an OEM upgrade, requiring both camera and wiring connector replacement. If you wanted to gamble, you could try a plug-and-play aftermarket camera using the part number for the older model, to avoid changing the connector.

*To OEM upgrade an older model, must include connector pigtail.
