While those who regularly drive an electric car pretty much all agree that plugging in to charge is no big deal, those who have yet to drive often ask if their car could charge wirelessly, like their mobile phones can.

And while we've covered the topic before (a long time ago), we thought it was worth revisiting wireless inductive charging to explain what it is, detail just one of the companies that is working on it - and ask what's next.
