Sonic Mega Collection Plus (ソニック メガコレクション プラス Sonikku Mega Korekushon Purasu?) is a video game compilation of twenty Sega titles, sixteen of which are from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It was developed by Sonic Team and released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004, and later the Windows PC in 2006, by Sega.

Sonic Mega Collection Plus was designed as an enhanced port of Sonic Mega Collection for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. In addition to the original game's content, Sonic Mega Collection Plus includes two games that originally were only available on the Japanese version of Sonic Mega Collection, six Sega Game Gear games from the Sonic series, alongside the Mega Drive/Genesis titles, and updated extra content, such as extra illustrations, a new menu interface, and a mid-game saving feature.

There are seven extra games originally released on the Genesis/Mega Drive to unlock. Keep in mind that for the unlockables that require other games to be started a certain amount of times, this does not have to be done in one sitting; the amount of times a game is started is saved.

UNLOCKABLE GAMES
• Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Play Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles twenty times each.
• Knuckles in Sonic 2: Play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic Spinball twenty times each.
• Blue Sphere: Play Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit) and Sonic 3D Blast twenty times each.
• Flicky: Play Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine thirty times.
• Ristar: Play Knuckles in Sonic 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, Blue Sphere and Flicky thirty times each.
• Comix Zone: Play the Sega Genesis games fifty times each or have a save file of Sonic Heroes on the same memory card/storage drive.
• The Ooze: Unlock Knuckles in Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Blue Sphere, Ristar and Flicky, or have a save file of Sonic Heroes on the same memory card/storage drive.

MANUALS
The Manuals are identical when unlocking the games. Once you unlock the games itself, the manuals for those specific games will be available.

HINTS
As for the Hints, you have to keep each of the games open for 3 hours straight. You don't have to play the games, just let them run. After three hours, exit out, and when you reenter the games, or check the Hints menu in the Options area, that game's hints will be available.
