Practice along with me as I work on vocal exercise #1 from the book, "Singing for the Stars" by Seth Riggs (Alfred Publishing). I recently started vocal lessons with ‪@DancecodeElectronics‬ and this is one of the exercises we are using.

From the book: As you practice the exercise be sure you:
1. Maintain good physical posture. Stand comfortably so you don't place stress
on any part of your body. For example, don't slouch or lean on one leg. .
2. Practice in as quiet an environment as possible. Try to eliminate any
surrounding noise.
3. Keep a positive mental attitude. These exercises really work. If you follow
instructions, you will accomplish your goal.
4. Stay relaxed. Induce relaxation, if necessary, by deep breathing, and by doing
any stretching or other exercises that promote blood circulation and eliminate
nervous tension

Let me know in the comments if there are things you see I should be doing differently!

Starting at middle C & going up to high C is higher than the book would suggest for my baritone (or anyone for that matter lol). Here is the advice from the book:

Soprano: start with G (196 hz) below middle C (C4, 261 hz).
Alto: start with E below middle C.
Tenor: start with the low C (C3, 130 hz) below middle C.
Bass: start with E (E2, 82 hz) below low C.

So Baritone would be between Bass & Tenor around G (98 hz) below Low C; (that's coincidentally the bottom or below the bottom of my current range).
