7/25/2005 Nickelodeon/Nicktoons Hijacking Recording

On the night of July 25, 2005, two Nick channels (Nickelodeon and Nicktoons) experienced a mysterious and unexplainable hijacking during the airing of SpongeBob SquarePants on each network. This strange hijacking caused the networks to both glitch out and morph in strange ways, and manipulate the broadcast into adding new, unauthorized content. Very few people managed to see the incident the moment it went live.

I am one of the people that witnessed the incident and have recorded it for you all to see.

After the hijacking, The Nickelodeon Channel could no longer be accessed, and the Nicktoons channel went offline. They both came back around 6:00am the next day.

Also to explain the time skip at 1:28, I essentially left the program running in the background for a little over half an hour, curious to see if something happened. Since nothing else happened, I switched channels.
