Intelliace Solutions Present Journey to Decarbonization with Jayati Talapatra

Jayati has more than 2 decades of Organisation Development consulting experience, post her MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur in 1999. Over the last 10 years, she has been working on Environmental sustainability and Climate Change. Her focus is on generating awareness within corporates on the impact of business actions on the Planet and consequently, Humans. She teaches Business Sustainability in multiple B Schools including TERI School of Advance Studies and her course on Businesses and Biodiversity is a first of its kind in Indian B-schools. Her course on ‘Triple bottom line for young professionals’ equips those beginning their work life with an understanding of long-term, sustainable success. She is empanelled with All India Management Association (AIMA) as a facilitator for their Advanced Certification course on Sustainability Management. Jayati is a core and founding member of the Centre of Excellence for Ethics, Responsible Organisations and ESG initiatives in MDI Gurgaon.
She was the Chief Editor of the Springer Nature book 'Emerging Economic Models for Sustainability' and has written papers on the Impact of Consumer Behaviour on Sustainability and Responsible Environmental Leadership, for Springer International Publications and the Pan- IIM conference in 2022.

Jayati started ‘Dilli Meri Jaan’ Walks, an initiative to restore Delhi’s ecology, where she aims to expose people to the advantages of nature and nature-based solutions and nudge them to take actions to preserve the city's biodiversity. A research paper on the Walks as a Climate Mitigation intervention is below. The observed impact on children, who are part of these walks, is a special focus area in the study.
