Tiger super arcade pinball was released under the Tiger electronics brand in 1988. It was essentially the follow up to Tigers Pinball Wizard which had been released in 1987 and was an LCD based pinball game. It was one of a number of pocket sized LCD pinball games released during the 80s. Previous to this electronic pinball games had been large tabletop units such as Wildfire. This had the advantage of being portable, in that you could carry it in your pocket. It was essentially produced to capitalise on the pinball machine revival that was happening in the arcades at the time.
