SUKKOT, Jewish holiday, “The Three Pilgrimage Festivals”.

The Jewish Holiday SUKKOT is The Feast of Tabernacles. “The Clouds of Glory”, commemorates the shelter our ancestors made on their way out of Egypt through the Sinai desert.

This year Sukkot falls on October 9-16. Sukkot celebrates many things, including the gathering of the harvest. Booths are typically made from bamboo and are covered with foliage like palm branches or pine boughs. “

As a holiday characterized by joy and happiness, Magdala wishes the Jewish community here in the Holy Land, a very Happy Sukkot!
