We did not want to miss out on going to one of the best places in South Africa to see wildlife, Kruger National Park...but our budget didn't allow us to go on an expensive planned safari. So we adapted and decided to experience our first African Safari the cheapest way possible, by showing up and doing a budget night drive in Kruger National Park!

This is a two part series where we spend 1 day on a National Park guided Night Safari and 1 day on our own DIY safari, driving our own car throughout a major animal reserve in South Africa!
