how to receive FTA satellite channels as IPTV Stream?
When we receive the TV channels from a satellite dish, we use coaxial cable connect with splitter, then connect professional satellite gateway to get free channels.

After tuner demodulation, multiplexing by the gateway processed, we can get IP streams with UDP, RTP protocol for LAN, while RTMP, HTTP, HLS, SRT protocol streams can be used for Internet.

If you want to use it in a coaxial network for RF distribution, you can connect the IP or ASI port with a modulator.

Let’s look at the FTA Tuner to IP gateway receiver.

For the back side, beside of power port, there are 24 tuners as input, and 24 tuners as Loop out.
Beside of DVB-S2 standard, the tuner supports also support DVB-C, DVB-T, ATSC and ISDBT standard.

For the front size, there is a LCD display, buttons, and indicator lights.
DATA 1 IP output, support RTMP, HTTP, RTSP, HLS, and SRT protocol
DATA 2 IP output, MPTS and SPTS output over UDP and RTP
The two ports can output streams simultaneously.
Based on UDP transport protocol, ST3380 can output max to 512 channels.
NMS port for web management
If you also need IP as input, DATA3 port can be used for it.
ASI Port , 2 Input and 2 Output

Installation
ST3380 gateway receiver supports up to 6 sub-modules, each module has 4 tuners as input, so the maximum input is 24 tuners.

Step1: Connect Loop output
Choose sub-module H1, use 3 coaxial cables to connect the loop output
Tuner1 output connects with Tuner 2 Input, Tuner 2 output connects with Tuner3 input, Tuner3 output connects with Tuner 4 input

Step2: connect tuner1 input
The signal source are from satellite

Step3:Connect the power supply
Step4: Connect the IP data ports, and NMS
data1 and data2 as output ports,
Data3 is IP input port

NMS WEB management
Enter web management
This is the main web management page of IP Gateway

Step1. Setting the input parameters

The signal is connected to H1 sub-module through the coaxial cable. Enter H1 input interface.

H1 includes Tuner1, Tuner2, Tuner3 and Tuner4.

After setting the received satellite frequency, symbol and other parameters, you can receive the corresponding signal.
We can see the quality and strength of the signal after operated.

Step2: Select channels
Open the multiplexing interface and select the channels
parse programs

Step3: Select output protocol

MPTS UDP/RTP protocol
One small board has one MPTS output.
This 24 tuner gateway has 8 MPTS output.

SPTS1: UDP/RTP protocol
The max output can reach 512 SPTS output.

SPTS2 : IP output, support RTMP, HTTP, RTSP, HLS, SRT protocol for optional
We can select a specific protocol here.

Step4: Play the streams

Copy the protocol address and fill it in the corresponding playback terminal, and you can watch the live program.
