Ski Rixen - Scott's first lap (After Face Plant)

I always wanted to learn to kitesurf. I took lessons and found I could handle the kite but had no idea how to ride the board. Ski Rixen at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach FL is a great place to get the feeling of riding a kiteboard. This was actually my second time at the park. This was my first launch on my second trip. First attempt resulted in a face plant but after that I rally'd and was able to complete a lap or so. The people at Ski Rixen are awesome... the team riders (crazy tricks BTW) will give advice to help you correct your errors. Not just a kid's activity... even an old dude can do it. The park is primarily for wakeboarding but it is the perfect analog for a downwind kite run. Maybe if I get better... at boarding and YouTube-ing I will add some music....BTW... my first attempt at uploading a video... enjoy!
