More Info on Stop killing games and the pirate software drama:
SKG is an initiative to stop large corporations like Ubisoft from shutting down games, which started after the inciting incident where Ubisoft shut down the crew. A petition was then started and pushed by Ross Scott, only for Thor from Pirate software to push back and dismiss the initiative as stupid - only to receive huge backlash.
While the initiative may not be perfect, measures need to be taken to stop big game publishers from making game hard shut downs a normalized strategy.
