The Calder Divide Trail takes you through open, green, wild spaces across '12 valleys, 6 moors and 1 floodplain' on the only trail in the world that connects 'off-road' tracks on the moors where a river rises and then to follow that river to the floodplain.

The 2024 event is on the weekend of 14th and 15th September. We have an event hub and campsite at the half way point with pie n peas at the finish line.

The Calder Divide connects bridleways, causeways and greenways on a circular route. It is very much a trail of two halves with the western section on steep sided valleys and open moors whilst the eastern section is on the level floodplain.

There are four routes to choose from starting at 160km up to 275km. Two routes are designed for gravel bikes and two routes for mtb's
