The Mikuni carburetor was partially reverse-engineered in Autodesk Inventor, then imported into Blender. A smoke simulation was run, at maximum resolution, with a color scale based off of the smoke density. We can easily see the Venturi effect taking place, and we also see a small pressure differential in the pilot, choke & main jets. Unfortunately, it seems the throttle slide causes turbulence, which could be to mix the fuel, or could be a simple oversight in the design of the carburetor.
