Longmont gets hot in the summer. It’s a dry heat but you will want to cool off. I’m going to start with the end of the day first. So Let’s start with Longmont Colorado downtown. Longmont has a lively downtown on summer nights. Here’s a Longmont brewery that I like, the Pumphouse.

On this night all that filming made me hungry and my husband and I went to the Roost because the food and drinks are fantastic. Here’s the inside.
How about things to do in Longmont during the day in the summer. Longmont has an incredible reservoir. Its Union reservoir on the east side of town.
Paddle boarding is very popular.
Another place to be outdoors and cool off is MacIntosh Lake. This is great all year around for walking the 3 mile path around, paddle boarding and fishing.
Next, morinings at these great Longmont Golf courses are fun and affordable. There’s the Ute Creek Golf Course.

There’s also Sunset Golf Course that’s near downtown.
For kids or adults who want to swim. Longmont has several pools. This is sunset Pool which is next to the golf course.
