OCT Basic Physics I: Axial Resolution

Описание к видео OCT Basic Physics I: Axial Resolution

This is a series of lectures on OCT starting with its history, then physics/technology, and finally moving to clinical applications. The focus is on developing imaging in non-transparent tissue, which represents most of the body’s tissues (cardiology/plaque, GI/Barrett, etc.) This lecture discusses, for non-physicists or engineers, how OCT generates high axial resolutions. The axial resolution is proportional to the wavelength and inversely proportional to the bandwidth. This is the same for TD-OCT and SS-OCT. #OCT,#Brezinski,#Fujimoto,#cardiology,#GI,#ophthalmology#Jang
