Описание к видео 3 amazing ice climbing crags in Pitztal and Ötztal in Austria | Ice Climbing Vlog Ep. 26

Looking for the best ice climbing crags in Austria? In this ice climbing video I will reveal my favourite top 3 best single pitch ice climbing crags in Pitztal and Ötztal in North Tirol in Austria. Pitztal and Ötztal are by far some of the ice best climbing sports in Europe! These are all fantastic ice parks in Austria. They are all natural formed ice climbing crags, and therefore not like the Eispark Osttirol Ice Climbing Park.

If you are looking for excellent single pitch ice climbing crags in Pitztal and Ötztal in Austria, then you are watching the right ice climbing video, because in this video I will show you what my top 3 favorite single pitch ice climbing crags are, and why you should visit them. They are all situated in Pitztal and Ötztal in North Tirol in Austria.

TASCHACHSLUCHT
The first ice climbing crag you should visit is the Taschachschlucht in the most southern part of Pitztal, just next to the Pitztaler Glacier. This short gorge offers three main sectors with routes up to 25 meters ranging from WI3 to WI5. And the setting is absolutely amazing! This is just stunning ice climbing in Pitztal. Taschachschlucht is located just next to the skilift that will take you to the Pitztal Glacier, so you should just park at the big parking lot there

KITZGARTENSCHLUCHT
The second place goes to another gorge! The Kitzgartenschlucht further up the Pitztal valley, and is another fantastic single pitch ice climbing crag. Here you wind more excellent single pitch ice climbs and a few mixed climbing lines too. And there is even a few short multi-pitch ice climbing routes here too. Park you car just at the small parking lot in Wiese and hike down into the gorge.

OBERRIED
And finally, my overall favourite ice climbing crag in North Tirol in Austria has to be the Oberried Eisklettergarten near Längenfeld in Ötztal. Here you will find an amazing main sector with intermediate and harder single pitch ice climbing routes ranging from WI4 to WI5. There are plenty of space at the ice climbing crag and you can easily spend a whole day here! And if you grow tired of single pitch ice climbing, there are actually a few shorter multi-pitch ice climbing routes too such as Mürbihl and Klettergarten Gully. You should park at the parking lot just next to the fire station. It is really easy to find, just follow for the signs that says Klettergarten.
