Bars and Melody: Hopeful—LIVE on This Morning (25/7/14)

Bars and Melody perform their début single Hopeful on This Morning.

Bars and Melody—Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan—were Simon Cowell's golden-buzzer act in Britain's Got Talent 2014, meaning they went straight through to the live shows. They won their semi-final on the public vote and came third in the final with a performance of anti-bullying song Hopeful.

The duo have since been signed by Simon's Sycho Music record label and Hopeful was released as a single on 27 July.

Hopeful started life as 'No More Tears' (   • Leondre Devries: No More Tears (ft. K...  ), a rap written by Leo before he'd met Charlie. The two boys later worked together, adapting No More Tears into Hopeful.
