He Only Comes At Night (2024 Horror Short Film)

The night takes an unexpected turn when Regina invites her first date into her home, while a sinister presence watches their every move.

Following his first semi-pro short film, Jonathan Pineda always envisioned his second to be grander in scope. Longer runtime, better cinematography, and a short that will make an audience question the character's every move. He believes he did with "He Only Comes At Night" a short film that stars Dylana Deignan and Winter Gamboa as two individuals, following a great first date, being unsuspectedly followed by a sinister presence. This marks Deignan's and Gamboa's first time acting in a J&J Entertainment production, in which they described the experience as "amazing." Returning stars of "something is wrong with rachel" Rebecca DeVivo and Jacob Card join the cast as two hookups and Ben Cash joins in a secret role that Pineda describes as "ambitious and memorable." While Jonathan loves both short films equally, he agrees that "He Only Comes At Night" will further his ambitions of directing a feature film and gives credit to his amazing crew for this accomplishment. "Without the efforts of everyone involved, this wouldn't be made, nor would I be in the position I am right now," said Pineda.
