Shepherd's Pie / Cottage Pie

Shepherd's Pie / Cottage Pie is a favorite comfort food for folks all over the world. Its economical, simple to make and very delicious. Traditionally Lamb is used for the meat, but you can also use beef, chicken or even plant- based
meat. You may also substitute the vegetables if the regular peas, carrots corn are not to your liking. Here is my recipe:
2 pounds ground beef
2 celery stalks diced
2 large carrots diced
1 whole onion diced
1 cup green peas
2 scallion stalks chopped
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 tbsp thyme chopped
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp rosemary chopped
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp flour
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp cooking oil.

**You may add 1 cup of Guinness stout to the sauce to make it an Irish Shepherd's pie.
