Описание к видео The Art of the Robbery - Redistribution? | Government Spying on My Wallet, WHY?

Distribution is not relief or welfare. Distribution is a money grab!

Davie lobbies the community and appeals to everyone to vote for him. He promises that if he is elected mayor, he will pool everyone’s wealth and then redistribute it fairly. Will you vote for him?

Brothers Split the MONEY

Let’s start with a story: In 1854, the Hongbing Uprising (Chinese: 洪兵起義) led by Tiandihui (Chinese: 天地會, meaning “Heaven and Earth Society”) in Guangdong, China, led to a large-scale armed conflict between the Cantonese people (Chinese: 廣府人), the natives of Guangdong, and the Hakka (Chinese: 客家) people, who had immigrated during the period from 1854 to 1867. The conflict affected as many as 17 counties and lasted 13 or 14 years. That exacerbated the enormous social damage caused since the Opium War (September 4, 1839–August 29, 1842; October 8, 1856–24 October 24, 1860) and the Taiping Rebellion (1850–1864).

Redistribution

The joke is over. If we think of the two brothers as fools, then think about real life; are we not such fools ourselves?

Simple common sense economics tells us that when an individual sells goods or labor in the market, he or she receives the income due. This realizes the value of the individual’s labor. There is no such thing as the distribution of wealth here. As long as we talk about distribution, it is like the joke we just talked about, that there is bound to be a Brother Fair, as if he were God, who happily divides the hard-earned working money of the two brothers!

Adolf Hitler (April 20, 1889 — April 30, 1945)
Command Capitalism

Due to the lack of rigorous theoretical research, Hitler’s Nazi economy has also been known by many different names, such as the command economy or command capitalism.

In 1933, when Adolf Hitler (April 20, 1889 — April 30, 1945) came to power, he faced the first serious problem, which was the severe economic crisis brought on by the Great Depression. The Great Depression was a global economic downturn that occurred from 1929 to 1933. Many economists begin to question the flaws of the market economy and attempt to solve the problems through government intervention.

Ludwig Erhard (February 4, 1897 — May 5, 1977)
Rhineland Miracle

The creator of the Miracle of the German Renaissance (German: Wirtschaftswunder), also known as the Miracle of the Rhine (German: Wunder am Rhein), was Ludwig Wilhelm Erhard (German: Ludwig Wilhelm Erhard, February 4, 1897 — May 5, 1977), who is known as the “Father of the Social Market Economy”.

The Miracle of the Rhine - Two Civilizations

I have a viewpoint that human history is permeated by two logics: one is the logic of robbers, and the other is the logic of the market. The logic of robbers means achieving one’s own happiness by making others unhappy; the logic of the market means achieving one’s own happiness by making others happy. Examples of the logic of robbers include war and plunder, while the market logic is represented by exchange. Following the market logic will make humanity happier.— Zhang Weiying

The Miracle of the Rhine - Give It Freedom
...
Erhard abolished price controls, lowered tariffs, covered government expenditures by increasing excise taxes, and eliminated unfavorable constraints on savings. In April 1948, Erhard was chosen by the Bundeskammer to be the Director of Economics. On June 20, 1948, the Deutsche Mark was introduced. Erhard abolished the pricing and production controls issued by the military government. This was beyond his authority, but he succeeded in this step.

...

When people asked Ludwig Erhard, the “father of the Miracle of the German Renaissance,” how to handle an economy facing total devastation and create the postwar Miracle of the Rhine, he gave the simplest answer, one proven by economic theory and repeatedly verified in practice: “Give it freedom.”

Please follow me, and subscribe to my channel (@ilighter). I will be discussing government assistance and the welfare system further later. Many people often equate welfare with redistribution. It is therefore necessary for us, in the next section, to clarify these concepts that have been intentionally or unintentionally confused by some economists.

We hire the government to provide us with services,
not to play God.
