Cork, in Ireland has always produced many great acts, including alternative/indie five-piece The Altered Hours. This band moulds the sonic soundscape with rich tones and melodic riffs, along with glimmering hooks to die for. The Altered Hours have brought psychedelic rock, shoegaze and dream pop straight into the 21st century! As an experimental rock group they have been headlining tours all over Europe and the UK for the past five years, thus gaining a massive cult following. They have also joined fellow Irish rockers Fontaines D.C. on a major European tour, playing sold out venues such as Le Bataclan (Paris) and Paradiso (Amsterdam). With two acclaimed albums out, The Altered Hours are on the cusp of success. The journey ahead looks good. Members hailing from Cork, Tipperary and Limerick are Elaine Howley - vocals, Cathal Mac Gabhann - guitar/vocals, Nora Lewon - drums, Patrick Cullen - bass guitar, Kevin Terry - guitar.
