IFF's Mastering Infrastructure Project Finance professional train course will take you through the nuances and aspects particular to infrastructure.

This course focuses on PPP/PFI projects - building transport or social infrastructure e.g. toll roads, tunnels, roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, prisons etc.

These projects involve goverment agencies and concession agreements. The cashflow characteristics are slightly different from regular project finance projects, the only revenue for this type of project is a cost plus formula. There are exceptions to the rule, toll roads and airports have market risk, traffic volume risk etc.

Infrastructure project finance projects tend to be heavy documentation orientated. The Concession Agreement and EPC Construction Agreement are key in these type of projects. With this in mind, the course focuses on the concession and construction phases as they are critical in driving the revenue stream.

Case studies are used to illustrate theory taught and are important part of the course itself.
