Airfix BP Defiant Mk.1 - 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit - Build & Review

The Boulton Paul Defiant was born from the idea that a fighter aircraft with a single turret could successfully engage and destroy enemy bombers and fighters. Introduced in the late 1930's to RAF service, it did see very limited success in the early stages of World War 2. During the battle of Britain however, the shortcomings in it's design were realised and it was removed from daylight operations, taking up a reasonably successful role as a night fighter.
